Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.

Both sides expressed their readiness to establish closer political dialogue, enhance trade and investment cooperation, and develop cultural ties and people-to-people diplomacy.

"A month ago in Tashkent, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan signed a historic document—the Treaty on Allied Relations. The Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are fully committed and are closely cooperating to facilitate the implementation of all aspects of the 'Roadmap' for further joint actions," noted Bakhtiyor Saidov.
