Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 16 to 20 June, a delegation led by Andrea Eder-Gitschthaler, President of the Federal Council — the upper house of Austria's parliament — is paying an official visit to Uzbekistan.

On 17 June, the Austrian delegation visited the Public Services Center of the Chilanzar district in Tashkent. The leadership of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Justice briefed the guests on the organizational principles of the center’s operations, the mechanisms for delivering electronic services to the population, and the digital solutions implemented in public administration.

During the visit, the two sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in digital transformation, the improvement of public administration systems, and the enhancement of service quality for citizens.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Austria. Over the past decades, cooperation between the two countries has developed dynamically, expanding into an increasingly broad range of areas.
