Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Acting Minister of Internal Affairs of Afghanistan Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani.

During the talks, the parties discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the fields of security, law enforcement, and the promotion of sustainable stability in the region.

Particular attention was given to the efforts of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs aimed at improving the domestic security situation and actively combating the production and distribution of narcotic substances.
