Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A delegation led by the Uzbek Minister of Water Management Shavkat Khamraev held a meeting with representatives from Afghanistan.

The Uzbek representatives conducted negotiations with the acting head of the Afghan Ministry of Agriculture Ataullah Omari.

The parties discussed cooperation issues related to strengthening the banks of the Amu Darya River, as floods are destroying crops and riverside homes.
