Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Mahkamov met with the Afghan delegation led by Acting Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Hamidullo Okhunzoda.

The meeting was aimed at developing cooperation in the field of transport and logistics.

The parties discussed the issues of collecting fees and charges for road transport, as well as transit and bilateral transport through the territory of Afghanistan.

Issues of benefits on railway transportation tariffs were also discussed.

The delegations also discussed accelerating the implementation of the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan railway construction project.
