Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a law “On introduction of changes and amendments to Code of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility” on 15 December.

The law was passed by the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on 3 November and approved by Senate on 4 December.

The document was developed to ensure implementation of legislation requirements on protection of population and territories from emergency situations of natural and human-made character.

The law introduces amendments to the Code of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility, which envisages responsibility for non-execution of legislation requirements on protection and people and territories from emergency situations, including responsibility for damage of life and health, property of legal entities and individuals, information hiding, etc.
