Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Ambulance Service has replenished its fleet with another 100 fifth-generation Volkswagen Caddy vehicles. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

The cars were manufactured by Jizzakh Auto.

The vehicles were distributed between branches of the Republican Emergency Medical Center in Bukhara, Namangan, Samarkand, Ferghana, Tashkent regions and Tashkent.

Taking into account previous deliveries, the ambulance fleet has been replenished with 800 vehicles.

In total it is planned to purchase 1,000 ambulances.
