The growth made up 9.2% and it increased due to the growth of air transportation on international directions by 2.9%, on CIS states – 15.4% and within Uzbekistan – 6.5%.

The airline said that some 1.05 million passengers were transported from airports in January-June 2011, which is 14.4% more compared to the same period of 2010.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari also increased freight transportation by 19.4% in the reporting period to 16,100 tonnes, the press service of the company said.
