Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The information service of Uzbekistan Airways informs that on 7 March 2023, the flight HY-601 on the route Tashkent - Moscow made an emergency landing at Vnukovo International Airport due to weather conditions (the condition of the runway did not meet the required for a safe landing) at Domodedovo International Airport.

The commander of the flight HY-601 informed the passengers about the reasons for leaving for the Vnukovo alternate airfield. After the weather improved and the aircraft was ready to take off, the crew announced the flight to Domodedovo. Unfortunately, the passenger became ill on board the aircraft, the crew had to call doctors, which caused an additional delay in the departure. At this point, the weather at Domodedovo International Airport again deteriorated sharply and resulted in a further delay.

Further, it was decided to disembark all 210 passengers at Vnukovo International Airport.
