Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan Airways announced about the temporary suspension of regular flights to Tokyo and Rome from 1 March 2020.

This decision was made in connection with outbreaks of coronavirus in Japan and Italy and in order to prevent the spread of this virus in Uzbekistan.

Together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, enhanced safety measures were introduced on all flights of the airline, including sanitary-quarantine measures and medical-sanitary control of people crossing the state border of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
