Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan Airways JSC has released details regarding the operation of flight HY272, performed by aircraft UK67003 on the Istanbul–Tashkent route.

According to the airline, approximately one hour after takeoff, at flight level FL350, a cabin pressure fluctuation warning was triggered. For safety reasons, the captain decided to return the aircraft to the departure airport.

At 15:50 local time, the plane landed safely in Istanbul. The airline’s technical teams have already begun necessary maintenance procedures to return the aircraft to its base in Tashkent.

Passengers of flight HY272 will be transported to Tashkent on a replacement aircraft and accommodated in a hotel while awaiting departure. The substitute flight HY8272 has been scheduled for July 29, departing Istanbul at 07:30 and arriving in Tashkent at 13:35 local time.

Uzbekistan Airways has apologized for the inconvenience and emphasized that passenger safety remains the company’s top priority.

According to the Airfleets portal, aircraft UK67003 is a Boeing 767-33PER, in operation since January 2012.
