The contract, signed between Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and Airbus on purchase of 10 medium-range A320 aircrafts, has been fully implemented.

The programme of receiving these aircrafts to the fleet of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari has been realized till the end of 2011, as it was planned.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari is implementing a programme on replacing old dated aircrafts to new comfortable ones. The Airbus А320 aircrafts are used to carry out flights in internal destinations and to neighboring countries. The airplanes carry out flights to Almaty, Amritsar, Astana, Baku, Bishkek, Kiev, Lahor, Tel-Aviv, as well as Russian cities.

A320 aircrafts have been configured in a spacious two class cabin layout seating 150 passengers, 12 in business and 138 in economy. The eco-efficient A320 will benefit from the latest aircraft design and technological improvements contributing to lower fuel burn and emissions.

Airbus A320 airplane consumes twice as less fuel than Tu-154 of the same passenger capacity (2.2 tonne/hour versus 5.5 tonne/hour). This aircraft weighs less and this factor is very important for the aircraft operators. Its avionics is wonderful, and triple backup of all the systems makes this aircraft reliable and safe.
