Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways), national airline of Uzbekistan, received the fourth modified Il 114-100 aircraft on Tuesday, 24 November 2009. Tashkent Aircraft Production Plant named after Chkalov has built the aircraft. This is the fourth Il 114-100, which the Uzbek airline received. The aircraft’s capacity is 52 passengers. The aircraft can fly to 1,250 km. The cruising speed is 500 km per hour. The aircraft can compete with the similar airplanes of other producers on fuel consumption. Uzbekistan Havo Yollari plans to use Il 114-100 airplanes in internal flights and flights to the CIS states. Valeriy Tyan, director-general of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, said the company will receive one more Il 114-100 aircraft by the end of 2009. Overall, the Uzbek airline will get four more Il 114-100 airplanes. Uzbekistan Havo Yollari plans to replace old-dated Yak-40 and An-24 airplanes with Il 114-100 aircrafts.
