Uzbekistan Airways passes preliminary IOSA audit
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways), national airline of Uzbekistan, successfully passed IOSA audit, the Uzbek company said.

In line with IATA rules, IOSA operators should be audited for compliance wit IOSA standards each two years. IOSA audit is carried out by IATA accredited auditor in two stages - preliminary and final.

WAKE (QA) Ltd. (England) carried out preliminary audit in line with new IOSA standards (2009) on eight directions - ORG - organization and management, FLT - flight activity, DSP - operative flight control, MNT - technical maintenance of aircrafts, CAB - activity of stewards, GRH - land services to aircrafts, CGO - cargo transportation, SEC - aviation security.

On the result of audit, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari received recommendations on preparation of evidence to final audit, which will take place in January 2010. The audit will inspect Boeing-757/767, Airbus 310, Rj-85, А300 freight airplanes.
