Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) organized the fair at the support of the Japanese government. For its 20 year history, JATA WTF is one of the largest and popular tourism exhibitions along with ITB in Germany, WTM in London, CITM in China.

Over 90 countries participated at the fair this year. Among participants were national and regional tourism organizations, tour operators, hotels, insurance companies, information agencies, service vendors, airline companies, including Uzbekistan Havo Yollari.

Exposition of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari presented its routes, aircraft fleet and history of Uzbekistan. The airline said the Uzbek exposition attracted attention of Japanese citizens. The airline added that currently there is high demand for Great Silk Road tours among Japanese tourists.
