Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 15 December, Uzbekistan Airways solemnly welcomed Shakhnoza Yuldasheva, four millionth passenger. The ceremony of honoring the jubilee passenger was held at the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov. She was awarded a certificate for a free business class ticket in any direction of the Uzbekistan Airways route network.

Passenger Shakhnoza Yuldasheva shared her impressions: “I did not expect that I would become the four millionth passenger. I am very happy that I became the 4 millionth passenger of the airline. I thank Uzbekistan Airways for the unexpected surprise. I know exactly where I will fly next time with my favorite airline."

It is important to note that the airline’s performance in 2022 returned the statistics to the pandemic period due to the expansion of the carrier’s route network. In 2022, Uzbekistan Airways passengers were able to travel again to Sochi, Baku, Paris, Tokyo, Milan, Rome and Kuala Lumpur due to the resumption of flights to these cities. Uzbekistan Airways has also increased its route network by launching the first flights to Batumi, Irkutsk and Sharm El Sheikh. In order to create comfortable conditions for passengers, flights to London, New York, Sharjah, Seoul, Sharm El Sheikh, Sochi and other cities of the world were increased.
