Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the relevant privatization program, the sale of some aircrafts owned by Uzbekistan Airways is envisaged. 

According to this, the British company ACC Aviation was engaged by the State Assets Agency as a consultant to organize these processes, the State Assets Management Agency of Uzbekistan said.

The consultant conducted an analysis of the technical condition of the aircraft, the sale mechanism based on supply and demand in the market. According to the recommendation of the consultant, Uzbekistan Airways JSC announces the start of the expression of interest stage (Express of interest) for the purchase of aircraft in the following two lots:

Lot 1:

Boeing 757 (UK 75701), produced in 1999;

Boeing 757 (UK 75702), manufactured in 1999;

Lot 2:

Boeing 767 (UK 67007), produced in 2003;

Boeing 767 (UK 67008), produced in 2004.

At the same time, Uzbekistan Airways states that sales processes for the remaining aircraft will be announced in the future, by dividing them by lots, types and models of aircrafts.

The sale of Uzbekistan Airways aircraft is provided for in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 30 April 2021 “On measures to transform and support civil aviation enterprises”.
