The meeting was also attended by tour operators directly involved in attracting tourists on ziyorat-tourism (pilgrimage tourism) program.
During the negotiations, the concept of further development of ziyorat-tourism (pilgrimage tourism) in Uzbekistan, the role of the national air carrier in this issue, as well as possibility of opening regular flights along Tashkent – Jeddah – Tashkent route was discussed.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on working out the issue of entering NAC regular flights on Tashkent – Jeddah – Tashkent route once a week during the winter navigation period 2018-2019.
Flights on comfortable Boeing 767, 787 Dreamliner airliners will be planned taking into account convenient connections with Tashkent – Kuala Lumpur – Tashkent flights for transportation of tourists from Southeast Asian countries to Uzbekistan on pilgrimage tourism program.
