Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from 2 October 2024, Uzbekistan Airways will be adjusting its regular flight routes to avoid the airspace over Iraq and the western part of Iran. This was announced by the airline’s press service.

The decision was made to ensure the safety of civil aviation flights in accordance with directives from the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The airline emphasized that flights from Tashkent to Tel Aviv and from Samarkand/Tashkent will continue using alternative routes to maximize flight safety.
