Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzaviation Agency held a meeting with representatives of Uzbekistan airlines to discuss the situation related to the cancellation of flights by Humo Air.

At the meeting, it was noted that there were numerous complaints from passengers who purchased tickets from Humo Air about the company’s failure to fulfill its obligations and delays in refunds for canceled flights.

As a result of the meeting, Humo Air received instructions to resolve the current situation as quickly as possible.

Other airlines in Uzbekistan have been instructed to take the necessary measures to prevent similar cases in the future, to reduce the number of flight delays for various unfounded reasons, which cause dissatisfaction among passengers and outrage on social networks.

Representatives of airlines were recommended to strengthen interaction with the Ministry of Transport, the Uzaviation Agency and structural divisions of airports in case of problems.
