Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 2 July, as part of the visit of the Afghan delegation to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with the Minister of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan Nuriddin Azizi.

The parties discussed in detail the current state of trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as the progress of joint major infrastructure projects.

Specific measures have been outlined to increase mutual trade volumes, activate the activities of border trade zones, and develop investment cooperation.

Organizational issues related to an upcoming joint business forum with the participation of over 250 Afghan entrepreneurs and an exhibition "Made in Afghanistan" were also discussed. The exhibition will showcase products from 75 major Afghan companies operating in jewelry, textile, food, electrical, mining, transport, and logistics industries.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that jointly organized events with the Afghan Ministry of Industry and Trade will significantly enhance interaction between business circles of the two countries, boost trade turnover, and launch new mutually beneficial initiatives.
