Uzbekistan adopts programmes to repair roads
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan approved programmes on repairing motor roads of international and state importance for 2010. Total investments to programmes will make up 113.5 billion soums.

Within the programme on capital and mid-life repair of motor road of international importance, Uzbekistan plans to carry out capital repair works at 160 km roads of international importance for 2010. The country will direct 65.388 billion soums.

Uzbekistan is also planning to conduct mid-life repair of 120 km roads and 134 meters of overpasses and bridges with the cost of 17.965 billion soums within the programme.

The programme on capital and mid-life repair of motor road of state importance envisages repairing of 295.5 km of roads and 408 meters of overpasses and bridges. The cost of these works will be 48.111 billion soums.

In particular, it is planned to fully repair 104.2 km of roads and 408 meters of overpasses and bridges and direct 30.167 billion soums to these works. Uzbekistan will spend 17.994 billion soums to mid-life repair works of 191.3 km roads of state importance.

The repair works will be financed due to resources of National Road Fund under the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.
