Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekcosmos Agency and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) have held discussions to explore plans for expanding their cooperation.

It was noted that the President of Uzbekistan actively supports the development of the country’s space industry, the implementation of modern technologies, the creation of a skilled workforce, and the establishment of necessary conditions. The Uzbekcosmos Agency is already engaged in state space monitoring to detect legal violations and illegal activities in the economic sector.

The meeting also addressed plans to deepen collaboration in the fields of geoinformation systems and remote sensing technologies.

Founded in 2002, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) is a state-owned Chinese company specializing in communications and electronics manufacturing as well as software development.
