Representatives of business circles of Uzbekistan and Vietnam participated at the business forum. The Vietnamese delegation included representatives of over 30 companies.

Forum participants familiarized with bilateral cooperation in various sectors of economy, investment potential of Uzbekistan and opportunities of investment cooperation, as well as within the Navoi free industrial and economic zone.

The event will be largest among business relations of two states, which can create favourable investment conditions and contribute to developing contacts, as well as boost trade-economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

Currently, ten enterprises with Vietnamese capital operate in Uzbekistan, including two with 100% foreign capital. These enterprises work in such sectors as silk industry, trade and catering.
