The sides exchanged opinion on issues of the Uzbek-American cooperation. The sides noted mutual interest in expanding of bilateral cooperation.

They also discussed interaction in education sector in context of upcoming conference “Training of education and intellectual development of generation – as important conditions for sustainable and modernization of the country”, which started today in Tashkent and attended by heads and professors of the US universities and colleges.

It was noted that it is important to expand partnership in cultural-humanitarian spheres, strengthen mutual interaction between two nations.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and the United States.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Uzbekistan George A. Krol participated at the meeting.
