The issues of deepening cooperation in political, diplomatic spheres both bilaterally and multilaterally within international organisations were discussed.
The implementation pace of the agreements, reached during the Uzbek-Turkmen high-level meetings in Tashkent and Bukhara on 5-6 May 2011 was considered.
The parties exchanged views on the state and priority directions of developing trade-economic links. Only in the last three years the bilateral trade increased almost 2.5 times and reached US$454.3 million. This positive dynamics continues into this year as well.
A special attention was paid to the prospects of widening cultural and humanitarian ties.
It was noted that the two countries have created a solid base of more than 150 treaties and legal documents, which allows to develop cooperation in all directions of interaction.
