The embassy said the fair participants showed interest in “world-wide known pearls of the Great Silk Road as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, as well as Tashkent and other ancient cities of Uzbekistan.”

The exposition of Uzbekistan presented to visitors information on achievements of Uzbekistan in tourism sector, which also covered such issues as transportation, accommodation facilities and cultural heritage.

The Uzbek embassy said the exposition of Uzbekistan, which demonstrated the historical monuments and beautiful landscape of the country, attracted a lot of visitors.
