The delegation of Uzbekistan visited Turkey to familiarize with medical tourism of the country. The visit was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism issues of Turkey.

Advisor on culture and tourism of the Embassy of Turkey in Uzbekistan Cihan Varlik said that during nine days the Uzbek delegation receive information on medical tourism in Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa and Afon.

He said that Turkey expects the growth of tourists from Uzbekistan. He said that Turkey wants to contribute to development of tourism to improve bilateral ties.

Cihan Varlik said that people, who use service of healthcare sector in Turkey, underlined that the expenses are much lower compared to other countries. He said that the services are cheaper by 40% compared to developed states.

He said that many European and Americans prefer Turkey for medical tourism to save their money, while others select the country for quality of services.
