Uzbek team wins “What? Where? When?” World Championship

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- NMTT, an Uzbek team led by captain Rustam Said-Amin, won the Tenth World Championship on sport version of intellectual game “What? Where? When?”.

The tournament was held in Russian city of Saransk. Some 26 teams from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Israel, Great Britain and the USA participated at the championship.

During two days, teams had to answer 105 questions. At the same time, three teams, which won qualification round and final, had to answer additional two questions to reveal the World Champions.

The Uzbek team won their second World Championship title. Russian team won the second and third places.
