Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The National Research Institute for Professional Development and Teacher Training in New Methodologies named after A. Avloniy, in collaboration with Yandex Uzbekistan, has launched a joint project to train computer science teachers in Uzbekistan.

The free courses aim to help teachers learn more about neural networks and the basics of Python programming.

The courses will include both theoretical and practical sessions, allowing participants to master the material without prior knowledge of Python and immediately apply it in their work upon completion. 

The course materials are developed by Yandex specialists and will be integrated into the continuous professional development system implemented by the National Research Institute for Professional Development and Teacher Training in New Methodologies.

These courses are free of charge and have no time limits, with all additional materials remaining accessible to participants forever. The six sections on Python will cover topics ranging from basic constructs to object-oriented programming principles. Teachers will have the flexibility to choose the topics and tasks most relevant to their work.

To enroll, teachers can fill out a short form online. The courses will be conducted in an online format, allowing teachers to study at their own pace without interrupting their main work. Upon completing the courses, participants will gain access to additional materials on Python programming for children and ready-made tasks with auto-checking features, which can be easily integrated into the educational process.

That's why we are launching our programming schools in various cities, internship programs, and intensives for developers. These new courses will make it easier for many computer science teachers from different regions to access high-quality, modern educational materials," commented Izat Shukurov, Head of Yandex Uzbekistan.
