Heads of ministries and departments, companies and firms of two companies, working in banking-financial, insurance and leasing sectors, participated at the meeting.

South Korea is one of reliable and trusted strategic partners of Uzbekistan. Two countries have set the most favourable trade regime. South Korea invested over US$2 billion into Uzbekistan.

Currently, over 350 joint ventures with South Korea work in Uzbekistan and about 90 companies of South Korea have their offices in Uzbekistan. They work in such sectors as trade, textile and light industry, mining and metallurgy, chemical industries, etc. Now, Uzbekistan and South Korea are implementing a project on construction of Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex at Surgil field with the designed cost of US$4 billion.

At the forum, the participants exchanged opinion on current state and perspectives of cooperation between two states in banking-financial and insurance sectors, as well as develop interaction in this direction.
