Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 9 June 2025, the Uzbek-Slovak Business Forum was held in Tashkent as part of the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shokhrukh Gulamov.

The forum served as an important platform to strengthen bilateral cooperation, identify new areas of partnership, and lay a solid foundation for expanding economic ties between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.

Slovak companies demonstrated a strong interest in deepening their presence in the Uzbek market. Among them were AZC, OFZ, Rokosan, Matador, and others, which bring extensive experience in automotive manufacturing, metallurgy, infrastructure development, agribusiness, food processing, and the energy sector.

As a result of the event, bilateral agreements were signed for 15 joint projects across a range of industries, including mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, transport, construction materials, agriculture, energy, food production, information technology, healthcare, and metallurgy.
