Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 March, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbayeva, met with Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan, Won Do-Yeon.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized that Uzbekistan-South Korea relations have reached the level of strategic partnership.

Discussions focused on promising projects in education, healthcare, trade, economy, and investment, with special attention given to enhancing interregional cooperation.

Additionally, the parties explored ways to strengthen interparliamentary dialogue, increase the engagement of friendship groups, and organize joint events. Ambassador Won Do-Yeon expressed confidence that South Korea’s parliamentary delegation will contribute significantly to the successful hosting of the 150th anniversary session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Uzbekistan.

As a result of the meeting, both sides agreed to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
