Uzbek securities market turnover makes up 708.3bn soums in 2008
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Total turnover of Uzbekistan’s securities market made up 708.3 billion soums in 2008 or rose 300 billion soums compared to 2007.
In 2007, the securities market’s turnover was 408 billion soums, while in 2004 it was 146.2 billion soums.
The 2008 growth is the largest figure in last five years and it is connected with active emission of new shares of banking sector of Uzbekistan.
