This is English language magazine of the Economic Cooperation Organization and it is distributed among the ECO member states, Jahon news agency reported.

New technology on production of construction materials saves about 100 million soums at use of 10,000 tonnes of domestic waste at Novoangren thermal power station, the report said.

The technology was presented at Fan va Taraqqiyor enterprise under the State Technical University named after Abu Rayhon Beruni. It allows to produce Portland cement and sulfate-resistant cement at the temperature of 150-200 degree, while waste can be used in production of lime-sand bricks.

Another technology, produced by Tashkent Chemistry and Technology Institute, allows to save energy and material resources at the production of cement from ash-and-slad, phosphogypsum and alunite.
