Uzbek, Russian officials discuss ties in Moscow
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Islamov on 25 January.
Bakhtiyor Islamov is in Moscow to attend consultations at the level of deputy heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the SCO member and observer states, and Turkmenistan on Afghan problems.
The sides discussed the current state and prospects of Russia-Uzbekistan relations, including a plan of political contacts.
The meeting was held in the constructive atmosphere that characterizes Russia-Uzbekistan relations.
