The press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the sides considered actual issues of the Russian-Uzbek relations and preparations to official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to Russia.

The meeting, which was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Russia Ziyodulla Polatkhodjaev, was held in constructive mood, which is typical for the Uzbek-Russian strategic partnership and allied relations.
