The Uzbek leader started his visit to Andijan with inspection of new border checkpoint and talked to each serviceman. He also took interest in servicemen’s living conditions.

During his visit, President Islam Karimov also visited newly built market in Hodjaabad district, houses in Altykul district and new sport complex in Shurbulak district of Andijan city.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov paid a visit to Children City, where over 112 children live. The Children City has 16 modern houses, sport complex and other facilities. President presented bus of Samarkand Automobile Plant and toys to children.

Andijan city will host Student Games, which starts on 28 May. The Uzbek head visited Soglom Avlod Stadium, which will host opening and closing ceremony of the Games. He underlined carried out works and shared with his recommendations.
