Uzbek President signs a decree to increase salaries, pensions, scholarships and benefits

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyouev signed a decree to increase salaries, pensions, scholarships and benefits.

Thus, from 1 September 2021, on the territory of the republic:

- the minimum wage will be 822,000 soums per month;

- basic estimated value - 270,000 soums per month;

- the basic amount of pension calculation - 289,000 soums per month;

- the size of the old-age pension - 565,000 soums per month;

- the amount of the allowance for children with disabilities - 622,000 soums per month;

- The amount of the allowance for the elderly and disabled citizens who do not have the required work experience - 440,000 soums per month;

- the minimum pension for incomplete work experience, taking into account additional payments - 440,000 soums per month;

- the size of old-age and disability pensions for persons receiving pensions in the amount from the established minimum old-age pension to 623,000 soums - 623,000 soums per month;

- the amount of pensions, including allowances, for disabled people and veterans of the 1941-1945 war, as well as former underage prisoners of Nazi concentration camps and people who worked during the blockade of the city of Leningrad - 2,750,000 soums per month;

- the minimum pension for one disabled family member of the recipient of the survivor's pension is 440,000 soums per month with the payment of a pension to each next disabled family member in accordance with the current procedure;

- the amount of the allowance per one disabled family member of the recipient of the survivor's allowance - 440,000 soums per month and the addition of 165,000 soums for each next disabled member of such families.

The costs associated with the increase in the wages of employees of budgetary organizations, pensions, scholarships and allowances will be covered by the state budget and the off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance.

Employers are advised to increase wages in accordance with the minimum wage, ensuring that wages are paid not less than the minimum wage established by legislative acts.
