Uzbek President Islam Karimov said: “I want to underline that today nobody has doubt that there is no military solution for Afghan problem.” Karimov said that Afghan people should solve their own problems through achieving compromise between confronting sides and social-economic rehabilitation of Afghanistan with help of international community.

President Islam Karimov underlined that deadlock on Afghan issue can be solved only this way. He added: “We see Afghanistan future as peaceable stably developing government, which do not threat to any neighbouring state, so people of the region can realize friendly mutual beneficial relations.”

Uzbekistan will carry out friendly neighborhood policy in relation of Afghanistan, the Uzbek leader Islam Karimov said.
