Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov left for Brussels on 23 January 2011 on the invitation of the President of the European Union Commission Jose Manuel Barroso.

The current affairs and perspectives of Uzbekistan’s relations with the EU and NATO, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest will be discussed during the visit.

It is planned to sign documents directed at deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union in various fields is planned.
