Uzbek president congratulates Ukraine’s leader

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has sent a greeting note to President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich on the national Independence Day.

President Islam Karimov expressed confidence that the traditionally friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Ukraine built on principles of mutual respect for the interests of one another, will further advance systematically and comprehensively for the benefit of the two peoples.
