"The whole of Uzbekistan is congratulating your sports victory. We are proud that a representative of Uzbek boxing school won this historic victory, becoming a world champion among heavyweights," the head of the state said in his message.

Obtaining the title of the planet’s strongest boxer, Chagaev opened a new page in the history of Uzbek and world boxing, President Islam Karimov said.
