Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has issued a decree titled "On the Awarding of a Group of Athletes and Coaches for Achieving High Results at the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games in Paris."
According to this decree, Olympic boxing champions Hasanboy Dusmatov and Bahodir Jalolov, as well as taekwondo champion Ulugbek Ashitov, have been awarded the "El-Yurt Hurmati" Order.
The title "Uzbekiston Iftixori" has been conferred upon Olympic wrestling champion Razambek Jamalov, judo champion Diyor Kadirov, and boxing champions Lazizbek Mullajonov, Asadkhuzha Muydinkhujaev, and Abdumalik Khalokov.
Silver medalists from the Paris Olympics, Svetlana Osipova and Akbar Jurayev, have been honored with the title "Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan."
The "Fidokorona Xizmatlari Uchun" Order has been awarded to Sherzod Tashmatov, Chairman of the Taekwondo Association of Uzbekistan, and Saken Polatov, First Deputy Chairman of the Boxing Federation.
Additionally, the coaches of the Olympic medalists have received the "Do’stlik" and "Sog’lom Avlod Uchun" Orders of the II degree, as well as the title "Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan."
