Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on awarding boxer Murodjon Akhmadaliyev.

According to the Decree, member of the national boxing team of Uzbekistan, Akhmadaliyev Murodjon Kakhor o’g’li, has been awarded the honorary title “O’zbekiston Iftikhori” (“Pride of Uzbekistan”) for his worthy contribution to the widespread popularization of physical culture and sports in the country, increasing the international prestige of Uzbek sport, in particular, the strong sporting will, professionalism and skill, victory and a record at a professional boxing tournament held in the city of Miami of the United States, the first in the history of domestic boxing to win champion titles according to the WBA and IBF, as well as for great achievements in strengthening the feelings of national pride, love and devotion to the Motherland in the minds of young people.
