The decree said Ruslan Chagaev awarded for his prowess and bravery to clinch world heavyweight champion title in professional boxing, great contribution to improve authority and prestige of Uzbekistan in international arena and bringing up youth in spirit of love and devotion to Motherland, as well ass further development of Uzbek boxing school’s tradition.

As earlier reported, Chagaev outpointed Russia’s Nikolai Valuev to win WBA World Heavyweight Champion title on Saturday, 14 April.
