Representatives of Legislative Chamber, Cabinet of Ministries, ministries and departments and others participated at the conference.

The conference participants underlined that adopted law “On inventions, useful models and industrial designs”, resolution of the president “On additional measures on stimulating introduction of innovation technologies into production” and resolution “On programme of measures on realization of important projects on modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of production for 2009-2014” created legal and economic base for solution of this important task.

The participants said that adopted legislative acts allowed to boost work of enterprises. The single mechanism on creating national innovation ideas, technologies and projects were created. In particular, the scientific-research institutes and enterprises set close cooperation.

There were also shortages in this direction. It was said that some industrial enterprises are failing to execute legislative acts. It was noted that some organizations are not providing information on execution of agreements, signed during fair.

The participants developed recommendations, directed at eliminating existing shortages and further development of industrial property market in Uzbekistan. The committee adopted a corresponding resolution.
