Uzbek officials undergo training on ICT
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A group of the Uzbek officials will undergo training in information-communication technologies (ICT) from 31 May to 20 August. The training titled “Use of ICT in public governance” is directed at improving awareness of state officials in various directions and global ICT trends.
About 600-700 state officials from all regions will participate at the training, including representatives of the state bodies, departments, agencies, and others.
Cabinet of Ministers, Uzbek Agency for Communication and Indormation, UNDP’s ICTP project, Center for scientific-technical and marketing research Unicon and NITEX are organizers of the training.
During the training, participants will discuss development of ICT in Uzbekistan, use of various IT in public governance, legislative base in this sector, opportunities of Internet use, global experience in developing e-government, etc. The event will include sections on electronic digital signature and electronic document turnover.
