Uzbek officials attend ECO privatization workshop

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan participated at the international workshop on issues of privatizing, which took place in Tehran, Iran on 10-11 November.

The seminar is organized for the third time by Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). It is attended by all representatives of ECO.

The seminar was aimed at exchanging opinion of privatization processes in the member states of the ECO.

Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is an intergovernmental regional organization established in 1985 by Iran, Pakistan and Turkey for the purpose of promoting economic, technical and cultural cooperation among the Member States.

Current Members are Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
