Uzbek national attire showcased in Oman
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 25 to 28 February, a business mission of Uzbek women entrepreneurs took place in Oman under the leadership of Nodira Shotursunova, Deputy Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
As part of the visit, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted an evening reception where Uzbek businesswomen presented a collection of national clothing designed by renowned Uzbek designers.
Guests were introduced to garments crafted by Dilnoza Umirzokova, designer of the ANOR national clothing brand, alongside collections by Madina Kasimbaeva, Rano Khamrayeva, Noila Usmonova, Yulduz Mukhitdinova, and Khilola Sher.
The traditional outfits created by these designers reflected Uzbekistan’s rich and distinctive cultural heritage, captivating the audience with their beauty and craftsmanship.
Additionally, guests enjoyed performances of national music and witnessed the traditional Uzbek ceremony “Kelin Salom”.
Participants of the event noted that the fashion showcase played a significant role in promoting Uzbek national attire and textile products while highlighting the diversity and richness of Uzbekistan’s fashion industry.
